Bio

Rebecca Njuguna is an Information Systems Researcher and a PhD Fellow at the Hasso Plattner Research School at the University of Cape Town. She is also a Senior Teaching and Research Assistant, offering teaching and evaluation support for undergraduate and Honours courses at the Department of Information Systems. One of her research interests is the opportunities and challenges of digitalisation in Sub-Saharan Africa and how to design context-specific ICT tools that foster digital and financial inclusion, particularly among the underserved.
