Precious Mudavanhu

Precious Mudavanhu is a PhD student in Information Systems at the University of Cape Town, where her research focuses on data governance and data quality in the higher education sector. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Computer Science from the University of Zimbabwe, as well as Honours and Master's degrees in Statistics from Stellenbosch University. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of information systems, data governance, data quality, learning analytics, and higher education management. She is particularly interested in how institutions can leverage high-quality data, governance frameworks, and analytics to support evidence-based decision-making, student success initiatives, and institutional effectiveness within the higher education sector.
