The Entelect Challenge to be held virtually

The virtual event will take place on the Saturday 1st of August between 08:00 and 16:00 and is open to undergraduate students as well as full-time honours students. Each member of the winning team will receive a gaming laptop along with some interesting gadgets for their university's lab.
On the day
Students are responsible for determining how they will collaborate within their teams on the day. To assist with remote participation this year, some guidance around the tools available can be found here.
On the day, students will be able to access a Discord server and join their university channel. Volunteers will help students with any question that they may have. Details of the server will be made available students on the website and forum.
The day will begin with a short introduction to the University Cup and its history, a brief overview of what is expected and a summary of the problem statement, streamed over YouTube. After the introduction the problem statement will be made available to the students on the website and they can begin ‘hacking’! The students have until 15:00 to submit theirs solutions online.
A practice problem is available to students once they have logged in.
