Dr Densmore takes part in IEEE Powerafrica
Dr Melissa Densmore recently participated in a panel discussion at the Women in Energy Luncheon at IEEE PowerAfrica Conference in Cape Town.
Thirty female learners from Thandokulu High School, Mowbray, Cape Town received an all-expense paid invitation to participate with other conference attendees.
The discussion centered around the role of mentorship in career development,support mechanisms in industry, sensitizing colleagues to making the engineering workplace female friendly, career development and progression and leading a successful career as a mother.
