Nicole Richardson
Department of Computer Science
Nicole is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cape Town, joining the department after completing a PhD in Chemistry at UCT. Her interdisciplinary research combines high-performance computing and molecular modelling to explore the 3D conformations of bacterial carbohydrate antigens, contributing to advancements in vaccine design and gaining unique insights into the behaviour of these atoms and molecules. Passionate about tackling global health challenges, Nicole brings expertise in both computational and laboratory aspects of vaccine development to this innovative work.
