Daniel is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Artificial Intelligence Research Unit (AIRU) in the Department of Computer Science. He holds a PhD in Computer Science, with a background in mathematics and communication studies. His research focuses on Belief Change Theory, where he studies formal mechanisms for representing and modifying information. Building on his doctoral work on model-theoretic foundations of belief change, he develops structural and syntactic approaches aimed at extending these results to belief bases, non-monotonic reasoning, and ontology dynamics.
