Roy Ferguson

Roy is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in knowledge representation and reasoning at the Artificial Intelligence Research Unit (AIRU) in the Department of Computer Science. Before this, he undertook his PhD studies in mathematics, within the area of category theory, where he studied structures abstracting notions of summation and independence. He is now working towards applying tools from category and topology to identify and study structures arising in knowledge representation and reasoning.
